What's the PSC JC1 Internship all about?
The PSC JC1 Internship Programme offers students opportunities to better understand the challenges of working in the civil service.
Internship duration
The internship will take place during the school holidays in November to December. Students will be undergo a week-long Civil Service Experience programme. You can look forward to being attached to a mentor to experience first-hand the work and responsibilities of a public officer.
Internship allowance
Students will be given an internship allowance of approximately S$440 per month (pro-rated).
What Can You Expect from the Internship?
Challenging Projects
You may be involved in a mini research project, or be part of a team doing an environmental scan of a particular aspect of public policies. One thing for sure, the projects will be varied, exciting and challenging!
Experiential Learning
You will attend a structured programme over and on top of your internship, and this may include a Learning Journey. You will have the opportunity to interact with senior management and engage in active dialogue on public policy work.
