What's the PSC Post A Level Internship all about?
This Programme offers A level students the opportunities to better understand the challenges of working in the civil service.
Internship duration
For students who have completed their GCE "A" Level examination or equivalent, the internship will range from two to four weeks, starting in December. However, students who are keen to do a longer stint are welcome to make separate arrangements with the Ministries. You will also have a mentor to help address your concerns and guide you along.
Internship allowance
Students who have completed their GCE “A” Levels or equivalent will be given S$600 per month.
What Can You Expect from the Internship?
Challenging Projects
You may be involved in a mini research project, or be part of a team doing an environmental scan of a particular aspect of public policies. One thing for sure, the projects will be varied, exciting and challenging!
Experiential Journeys
You will attend a structured programme over and on top of your internship. This will give you the opportunity to interact with a senior public service leader and engage in active dialogue on public policy work. You will also be participating in a learning journey to see how policies are being implemented.
