Overseas Merit Scholarship (OMS)
Overseas Merit Scholarships are offered to academically outstanding students with leadership potential for undergraduate studies tenable at reputable overseas universities. PSC also sponsors scholars for selected Masters programme after the Bachelors degree.
Highly competitive, these are awarded only to outstanding students with strong leadership abilities. There are 'Open', 'Tied' and 'Specialist' awards under this scheme, where 'Tied' scholars will be posted to the Ministry he or she is tied to upon graduation. 'Specialist' scholars will pursue a specialist career track. |

The OMS also qualifies one to join the Management Associates Programme (MAP) upon graduation. The grooming and development under the MAP are specially designed to provide the scholar with valuable skills to prepare them for a fulfilling management-track career in the public sector.
Course of Study
A wide range of courses of study are available under the OMS.
Candidates offering GCE 'A' Levels
To be eligible for PSC Scholarships, candidates should offer at least 11 academic units.
